Setup

Syncing Across Devices

Your data syncs automatically:

• Real-time sync - Changes appear instantly
• Offline support - Work without internet
• Conflict resolution - Smart handling of simultaneous edits

Sync Troubleshooting

If sync seems slow:

1. Check your internet connection
2. Pull down to refresh (mobile)
3. Press R to refresh (desktop)
4. Sign out and back in if needed

Notifications Setup

iOS Notifications

1. Go to Settings → Notifications → TodoTicked
2. Enable Allow Notifications
3. Choose alert style (Banner or Alert)
4. Enable sounds and badges

Android Notifications

1. Open Settings → Apps → TodoTicked
2. Tap Notifications
3. Enable the notification channels you want
4. Set importance level

Desktop Notifications

• macOS: System Preferences → Notifications → TodoTicked
• Windows: Settings → System → Notifications → TodoTicked

Offline Mode

TodoTicked works without internet:

What works offline:

• View all tasks
• Create new tasks
• Edit existing tasks
• Complete tasks
• Create projects

What needs internet:

• Initial sign in
• Sharing and collaboration
• Sync across devices
• Attachments upload

When you're back online, everything syncs automatically.

Updating Apps

Automatic Updates

• iOS/Android: Enable auto-updates in your app store
• Desktop: Updates install automatically by default

Manual Updates

Check for updates in app:

1. Go to Settings → About
2. View current version
3. Tap Check for Updates

Uninstalling

Keep Your Data

Your data is stored in the cloud, so uninstalling won't delete your tasks. Just sign back in on any device to access everything.

Delete Account

To permanently delete your data:

1. Go to Settings → Account
2. Scroll to Delete Account
3. Confirm deletion
