How Recurring Works
When you complete a recurring task:
- The current instance is marked complete
- A new instance is created for the next occurrence
- The cycle continues until you stop it
After Completion vs From Completion
After completion (default):
- Next task appears after you complete current one
every day after completion- Good for flexible habits
From due date:
- Next task based on original schedule
every Monday- Good for fixed schedules
Example:
- "Exercise every 2 days after completion" - If you skip a day, the next one adjusts
- "Exercise every Monday" - Always Monday, regardless of completion
Managing Recurring Tasks
Editing Recurring Tasks
When you edit a recurring task:
- This task only - Change just this instance
- This and future tasks - Change the pattern going forward
- All tasks - Change the entire series

- Click the recurrence indicator
