Trouble signing in? Here's how to fix common login issues.

Forgot Password

Reset Your Password

  1. Go to sign in page
  2. Click Forgot password?
  3. Enter your email
  4. Check your inbox
  5. Click the reset link
  6. Create new password

Reset Email Not Arriving

  • Check spam/junk folder
  • Wait a few minutes
  • Try again (request new reset)
  • Check email address spelling
  • Try alternate email if you have one

Wrong Password

"Invalid Password" Error

If you're sure the password is correct:

  1. Check Caps Lock isn't on
  2. Try typing password in a text field first to verify
  3. Clear browser autofill
  4. Reset password if unsure

Too Many Attempts

After several wrong passwords:

  • Account temporarily locked (15 minutes)
  • Wait and try again
  • Or reset your password immediately

Account Not Found

"No Account with This Email"

  • Check email spelling
  • Try other emails you might have used
  • Check if you signed up with Google/Apple
  • Contact support if you're sure you have an account

Social Login Issues

Google Sign In Not Working

  1. Make sure pop-ups are allowed
  2. Try in incognito/private mode
  3. Clear Google cookies
  4. Use email/password sign in instead

Apple Sign In Not Working

  1. Ensure you're signed into iCloud
  2. Check Apple ID settings
  3. Try on a different Apple device
  4. Use email/password instead

Browser Issues

Sign In Button Not Responding

  1. Refresh the page
  2. Clear browser cache
  3. Try a different browser
  4. Disable browser extensions

Stuck on Loading

  1. Check internet connection
  2. Wait 30 seconds
  3. Refresh the page
  4. Try incognito mode

Two-Factor Authentication

Lost Access to 2FA

If you can't access your authenticator:

  1. Use a backup code (if saved)
  2. Contact support with:
    • Account email
    • Proof of ownership
    • We'll verify and help reset

2FA Code Not Working

  • Check time on your device is correct
  • Make sure you're using the right account in authenticator
  • Try the next code (they refresh every 30 seconds)

Session Issues

Keeps Signing Me Out

If you're logged out repeatedly:

  1. Check browser cookie settings
  2. Disable "clear cookies on exit"
  3. Allow cookies from todoticked.com
  4. Check for security software blocking

Signed Out on All Devices

This can happen if:

  • Password was changed
  • Security setting triggered
  • Account was compromised (change password immediately)

Mobile App Login

Can't Sign In on Mobile

  1. Update the app
  2. Check internet connection
  3. Force close and reopen
  4. Try signing in on web first

Biometric Login Failed

If Face ID/Touch ID isn't working:

  1. Go to device settings
  2. Re-enable biometrics for TodoTicked
  3. Sign in with password once
  4. Biometrics should work again

Account Recovery

If All Else Fails

Contact support with:

  1. Email address used
  2. Approximate sign-up date
  3. Any payment receipts
  4. Device you used to sign up

Security Tips

After recovering access:

  1. Change your password
  2. Enable 2FA
  3. Review active sessions
  4. Check for unauthorized changes
